Torstrasse 166, Haus der Vorstellung. Berlin, October 2008. An empty house in Berlin Mitte – Torstrasse 166 – is tackled. Pressure and sound waves inflate the existing air to new volumes. New cores develop themselves around the pneumatic covers – creating extra rooms that are accessible or intangible. These newly yielded rooms become catalysers for emotions, overlapping, shifting, and at last exaggerating the existent tracks and contained structures. SPACE INVADERS is a joint project of Plastique Fantastique & Architettura Sonora for ‘Haus der Vorstellung – Torstrasse 166‘.
