Universidad Nacional de Colombia
Plastique Fantastique Workshop at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá.
The workshop has been focused on the participation of students from the arts and architecture faculties in order to design a site specific installation inside the campus of the National University of Colombia in Bogotá.
Once the location was chosen - the Che Guevara Square - a 37 meters long tubular structure has been squeezed between the inner corridor and the columns of the main building to underline and revalue the existing public space.
An additional series of transparent pictograms has been placed on the structure’s surface in order to allow a free interpretation of the installation and this emblematic square.
