A shiny piece of jewellery adorns the Passage Neukölln, located in the heart of Berlin’s beloved neighbourhood, as well as the former town hall of Logroño, the capital of the Spanish province La Rioja, which currently houses the Instituto de Estudios Riojanos.
The strikingly proportioned sculpture embraces the waistline and façade of these different architectures and quickly reveals its lightness and simplicity. Its soft sheen evokes a range of associations, from gangsta outfits to an ingenuous love confession – a gorgeous project for a glamorous neighbourhood!
Not all that glitters is gold. Not all that vanishes is untrue.
